One Direction's 3-D movie, originally titled 1D3D, has officially been renamed This Is Us, and will give an inside look into the British pop group.
"How exciting is this! #1D3D title is on the way! Hope you all like it! Lot of thought gone into it," band member Niall Horan tweeted before Liam Payne revealed, "guyssss so proud to announce that our upcoming movie is officially titled 'This Is Us'! Cant wait for you guys to see itttt!!"
Fans had been sent on a scavenger hunt prior to the official title unveiling to figure it out on their own. After revealing clues from the movie’s Twitter account, One Direction fans successfully solved the puzzle and identified it as the endearing This Is Us.
The film will follow Horan, Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayne Malik on their rise from UK Idol to global stardom. Including their world tour, the finished product is part documentary, part concert film.

"Morgan [Spurlock] works well because like you said, he did a lot of documentary movies," Horan told MTV News about the director behind This Is Us. "And, that's more so what we want our movie to be. It's going to be a concert movie, but with more of a documentary side than concert side so we wanted it to like get our personalities across because the fans know us, but we want them to know us deeper."
This Is Us is set to be released sometime this year.
