The Office is being remade again for the thirteenth time. This adaption will be an Australian version featuring a female lead, Felicity Ward, for the first time. Ward will be acting as Hannah Howard, the manager of one of the branches of Flinley Craddick, a packaging company. This adaption differs from the original U.K. version as it will follow what happens to Howard and the other branch workers when they must work from home due to their branch being shut down.

Prime Video Australia will be creating the show and it will be an eight-part series. Filming will start in June and is set to launch in 2024. Viewers can access the show through Prime membership, as it will be an Amazon Original show.

Other actors will star in the series including Steen Raskopoulos, Firass Dirani, Susan Ling Young, Josh Thomson, Shari Sebbens, Edith Poor, Lucy Schmit, Jonny Brugh, Raj Labade and Pallavi Sharda

The original version of The Office was created in the UK in 2001. It starred Ricky Gervais as David Brent, who works at a paper company called Wernham Hogg. The show only had two seasons, unlike the U.S. version which has nine seasons.

The U.S. version, created in 2005, starred Steve Carell as Michael Scott, the regional manager of the Scranton branch of the paper company Dunder Mifflin. The other ten adaptions of The Office have been made in Canada, Poland, Israel, France, the Middle East and Chile. All of the versions of the show share a similar plot line, but each put their own spin on it. The show focuses on what happens in the daily lives of office workers when they must deal with a manager who works in a non-traditional style and is filmed in a documentary style.

Ward, an Australian comedian, is best known for her appearances on the Australian game show Spicks and Specks. She has also acted on Wakefield, Any Questions for Ben?, The Inbetweeners 2, and several other TV shows and movies.
