Sunday night's Celebrity Apprentice saw Donald Trump "fire" not one, but two, of his employee / reality show contestants — Real Housewife of New Jersey Teresa Giudice and comedian Lisa Lampanelli, leaving Arsenio Hall, Aubrey O'Day, and Clay Aiken to battle it out for the Celebrity Apprentice top spot.

Former winner John Rich and runner-up Marlee Matlin made cameos on the episode to assist Trump in his firing duties. Giudice was the first to go for being a "liability" as a project manager, according to Trump, though she tried to blame Hall for contributing so little to the project. "Don't throw me under the bus I'll back it up and hit you with it," Hall told Giudice before she was told to hit the road.

Rich and Matlin made the decision, supported by Trump, to axe two of the remaining four, after interviewing all of them. But only one — Lampanelli — was announced on Sunday's show. The former contestants considered Lampanelli "too emotional" to be an effective executive. The next loser — O'Day, Hall, or Aiken — will be revealed on next week's Celebrity Apprentice episode.
