‘The Bear’ Star Jeremy Allen White Agrees To Daily Alcohol Tests In Order To See His Children

Jeremy Allen White, star of the hit Hulu series The Bear, and his estranged wife, Californication actress Addison Timlin have filed a custody agreement that will allow White to see his children under the condition that he regularly test for alcohol.

White and Timlin, both 32, have agreed to have joint custody over their two daughters, Ezer Billie, 4, and Dolores Wild, 2.

The agreement comes with the condition that White must use a Soberlink device to ensure that he is sober whenever he is with his children. He is required to test with the device twice on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, when he has custodial time with his daughters.

The agreement also states that White is required to test three times when he spends Saturday with his children and only once on Sundays. He also must attend therapy once a week, and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings twice a week. 

Soberlink’s website states that it is a “professional-grade breathalyzer system with facial recognition that automatically sends results in real-time to designated individuals.

After a three-year marriage, Timlin filed for divorce from White in May.

On Mother’s Day, Timlin posted a series of photos of her children on Instagram with a caption that candidly detailed her experience as a single mom.

“Co-parent is not how I pictured it,” she wrote. “It is so f—ing hard… It can be exhausting but more than anything it can just be so lonely. When something magical happens and you have to tell yourself ‘don’t forget this’ because there’s no witness by your side.”

Timlin made sure to clarify that despite the hard moments, parenthood is still a wondrous and joyful experience and that she hopes all mothers receive love and appreciation for the work they do, both from others and themselves.

“Knowing what is best for you is easy if you can get quiet enough – doing what is best for you can seem impossible – but it’s not.”

She rounded out her caption with a lengthy thank you to many.

“The moms who picked my kid up from school in an emergency, play dates that made weekends feel a little less like climbing a small mountain, crying in my car… Kraft mac and cheese, dry shampoo… pull-ups, crocs, soap & water, neighbors, my friends, my family, and if you turned and said to me ‘I’ve got you,'” she wrote. 

Since the agreement, Timlin and White have been able to maintain an affectionate relationship.
