The Bachelorette alum James McCoy Taylor was arrested and charged with assault in Brazos County, Texas.

The reality star, 38, was handcuffed at a bar and taken into custody, where he was booked for assault causing bodily injury and unlawful restraint after an incident that occurred on April 24.

He smiled in his mugshot and was released Sunday on an $8,000 bond. The reality star denies the allegations and told Page Six, “I would never hurt anybody. I’m nice to every person I meet.”

This is not Taylor’s first offense. In September 2022, he was arrested for driving while intoxicated and carrying a weapon. He was sentenced the following November and served five days in the Brazos County Detention Center. He was ordered tp pay a $5,000 fine and $585 in court fees.
