TV ratings skyrocketed as the season finale of The Bachelorette revealed that Ali Fedotowsky has chosen Roberto Martinez to be her future husband. Martinez proposed in a typically romantic fashion, down on one bended knee, before a Tahitian backdrop in Bora Bora.
"I want to make you smile. I want to make sure you wake up every morning for the rest of your life knowing that you’re so, so loved," he said as he offered Fedotowsky a Neil Lane engagement ring. “I want to grow old with you. I want to share my life my life with you … Ali Fedotowsky, will you marry me?” She agreed and the two shared a kiss.
Fedotowsky, a former Facebook employee, started the season out with 25 eligible men after she moved out of her apartment and left her life behind to appear on the reality show. "I wanted to risk it all for love," she said. Her choice was narrowed down to Chris Lambton and Martinez before deciding the latter bachelor was the right person. “I’m one-hundred percent certain with all of my heart that Roberto is the man for me. I can only hope that he feels the same way.”
