The Bachelor finally sees Sean Lowe get rid of Tierra as he narrows it down to four ladies in St. Croix.
Ashlee is granted the first one-on-one date, much to Tierra’s dismay, who calls the 32-year-old a cougar. Not to be distracted by Tierra’s malevolence, Ashlee enjoys a swim out to a catamaran with Sean. As has been par for the course on these one-on-one dates, Ashlee “opens-up,” and talks about abandonment issues… and cries. Then the pair settles down for a romantic dinner on the water, where Sean takes the opportunity to dig up any secrets the cougar may have buried. Dun, dun, dun dun… Ashlee got hitched her junior year of high school, and was divorced by her senior year. All accepting of her teenage misstep, Sean kisses her and gets an “I love you” from Ashlee in return.
The second one-on-one date goes to Tierra, her first and final. Sean’s date entails a walking tour of the beautiful St. Croix, food and drinks and the gifting of an eternity bracelet. Noticeably distant, Sean seems to be getting more wary of Tierra, no doubt partially due to Ashlee’s attempt to break the Tierra situation down for him on their one-on-one date. Even though he’s a bit chilly, Tierra whispers to him that she’s falling for him.
The group date this week had an early start, and an even earlier test – at 4 a.m. Sean sneaked into their rooms to snap pictures of the sleeping ladies to see what he’d be waking up to in the morning. Sweet? Eh, more like creepy. The actual date involved a trip across the island to witness a breathtaking sunrise, then a trip back across to take in the sunset. Desiree and Sean get some alone time, and sparks fly. Oddly enough, it’s Lindsay though that gets a rose from Sean at the end of the date.
The final one-on-one date goes to Leslie. Sean takes her on a picnic in an effort to get to know her better – he feels as though he doesn’t know as much about her as he does the other girls They don’t seem to have much chemistry together, and Leslie comes off as a little stand-offish until a little bit of affection transpires closer to the end of the date.
Sean’s sister, Shay, pays a surprise visit on the day of the rose ceremony, and thankfully she does as she provides the much needed clarity Sean’s been lacking. She reminds her little brother what she said before the show began: don’t go for the girl no one can stand. When he tries to get Tierra to meet his sister, she’s too busy bawling about how misunderstood she is among the others in the house. Consequently, he forgoes giving her another rose, and she is NOT okay about that. Leslie was also passed up this week, leaving Desiree, Ashlee, Lindsay and Catherine around for next week when Sean visits all the ladies’ hometowns.
