The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, two popular ABC dating shows, are facing a class-action lawsuit alleging that they intentionally exclude ethnic minorities. Nathaniel Claybrooks and Christopher Johnson, both football players fron Nashville, say they plan to file suit on Wednesday against the sister shows, which after 10 years and 23 combined seasons have never featured a person of color in the central role, according to the LA Times.

Among those being named in the suit are ABC Inc., Warner Horizon Television Inc. and executive producer Mike Fleiss, who has been criticized in the past for not including racial minorities on the show. "We always want to cast for ethnic diversity, it’s just that for whatever reason, they don’t come forward. I wish they would," Fleiss told Entertainment Weekly last year.
