Adriana Campos and her husband, Carlos Rincón, died in a car crash Tuesday, the Latin Times reports.
According to Noticias RCN, the couple were driving southwest of Colombia’s Department of Antioquia when Rincón lost control of the automobile, causing the car to fall and plunge into the Cauca river. Both bodies were taken to Salgar, Antioquia.
Campos, 36, was best known for her role as Nicol Aguilar in Vecinos, for which she received her first of two Premios TV y Novela award nominations and for playing Pricila Cardona in Bella Calamidades, for which she received her second. The actress’ career also included work in film, tv series and theater.
She and her businessman partner, Rincón, leave behind a 1-year-old son.
