‘Teen Mom’ Star Tyler Baltierra’s Sister, Amber, Arrested Again – & Goes Viral For Sad Mugshot With 2 Black Eyes

Teen Mom star Tyler Baltierra’s sister, Amber Baltierra, was arrested in Texas on Feb. 6 for probation revocation.

Amber’s mugshot showed her staring miserably at the camera in a hot pink v-neck with deep bags under her eyes. She posted bail and was released shortly.

Public records do not presently specify how Amber violated her probation but it has been speculated that it was in connection to her most recent arrest on Nov. 29 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her mugshot in November shows her sporting two black eyes with messy hair and other bruises. She was ordered to wear an alcohol monitor on Jan. 17.

A mother of two, Amber, 37, has a long history of run-ins with the law. She was arrested for possession of narcotic accessories in 2013 and served 20 days in jail. In 2019, she was arrested for assault that caused bodily harm when an altercation with her ex-boyfriend turned violent; she was sentenced to 18 months of community service and placed on probation.

In February 2022, Amber gave up custody of her teenage son, placing him with friends. It is not presently clear where her teen daughter lives.

Despite a once-close relationship with his sister, Baltierra and his wife, Cateylnn Lowell, have had little contact with Amber in the last few years. Baltierra previously compared Amber’s problems to their addict father, Butch, who went to rehab several years ago. Baltierra shared on his show that his father has not yet met his youngest daughter, Rya, 3, and Baltierra himself has not seen Butch in five years.

However, Baltierra maintained that he harbors no resentment towards his father, saying, “The older I get, the more love I actually have for my dad and I just know that he was younger than me and he didn’t have half of the resources that I had, so you can’t hold too much against him.”

Amber married Jason Williams in 2021.
