Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is sharing her experience and giving new updates after undergoing surgery to remove melanomas.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 41, revealed her stage 2 melanoma diagnosis earlier this month.

In an effort to bring melanoma awareness, she gave new health updates following Tuesday’s surgery.

She posted a photo of her back with multiple bandages and the surgical scar on Instagram.

“Lots of questions about updates. Here is the truth; there isn’t one, which may be one of the hardest parts about this. The waiting,” she wrote alongside the photos. “Yesterday, I had surgery. I had melanomas removed. I had lymph nodes that lit up so they were also removed and additional biopsies are being done.”

Mellencamp noted that she’s not sharing this for sympathy, but because “one of the things that keeps me going through all of this is your messages telling me you are getting tested.”

She’s been updating her health progress along her melanoma battle. In an Instagram post earlier this month, she wrote: “Something in me is making me want to continue to share this personal information because I want to continue to reiterate the importance of getting your skin checks.”

She also mentioned her gratefulness for those who continue to show support, especially her loved ones and doctors.

“I am grateful to my family, friends and husband who welcomed my pain and anxiety with open arms. I 💕 you all so much and I just know I am going to kick this cancer’s a**- with the help of my incredible doctors and nurses of course.”
