While Taylor Swift moves on to Europe for her blockbuster Eras Tour, new information about her backup dancers has come out.
Swift utilizes 50 truckers to transport staging and costumes and 15 backup dancers, six of whom are male.
Their names are Jan Ravnik, Sam McWilliams, Kameron Saunders, Whyley Yoshimura, Raphael Thomas and Kevin Scheitzbach.
Ravnik, in particular, has had fans’ tongues wagging.
Born in Slovenia, Ravnik is a dancer and choreographer and has been named the Best Dancer of Slovenia twice. In 2018, he relocated to L.A. and has worked with Bruno Mars, Lewis Capaldi and Mariah Carey. He joined Swift’s tour in January 2023.
While traveling, Swift has gotten close to these dancers and confides in them as friends, even taking advice from them about her relationship with Travis Kelce.
Swift and her team train for hours a day, but when they get a break, they explore cities, beaches and nightclubs together. While Swift makes about $13.6 million per show, her dancers walk away with a whooping $500,000 salary.
Recently, Pet Shop Boys’ singer Neil Tennant questioned Taylor Swift’s music, calling it “disappointing.” The singer was also dissed recently by Courtney Love who said Swift was ‘not important’ as an artist.
Darcy continued, “[such 'Historic tension'] has resulted in headaches for the networks’ bosses.
