Taylor Swift’s father allegedly assaulted an Australian paparazzi early Tuesday morning, according to new reports.

Though Scott Swift has not been formally identified, local police said that a 71-year-old man slugged a 51-year-old man at Neutral Bay Wharf at 2:30 a.m.

“Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way toward Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water,” a spokesperson for Swift said in a statement.

The paparazzo, Ben McDonald of Matrix Media Group, told the Sunday Morning Herald that he was left with a “sore left chop,” though cops said he did not need any medical treatment.

“She got off a super-yacht at Neutral Bay and walked up the wharf with an umbrella over her head and a couple of security [guards] around her,” McDonald said. “Security sort of pushed us around with the umbrellas. Then her dad decided to add to the mix and throw a punch in.”

Swift wrapped up her final Eras Tour performance in Sydney on Monday. She reportedly left Australia on her private jet following the incident.

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelsey, attended one of the concerts as well as former nemesis, Katy Perry, who posed for a selfie with the singer.
