Taylor Swift was spotted indulging in a treat from Pinkberry on a solo outing at Collect Pond Park in Manhattan on Friday.

For her day out, Swift looked as fashionable as ever wearing a navy blue and white checkered dress with a white color paired with navy blue heeled oxfords. Swift wore her hair back in a short ponytail with her bangs styled straight across her brow.

Earlier in the week, Swift and model Karli Kloss went to singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson’s show at Central Park’s Summerstage event. The two young woman hopped onstage during Michaelson’s song “Afterlife” to the delight of the audience.

Swift recently admitted that her own music doesn’t have the cheeriest theme. "People wouldn't listen to my songs if they weren't heartbroken, or deeply affected and hurt, and jilted and sad and bitter and all those wonderful things that I write songs about," Swift told Entertainment Tonight.

While Swift’s success in music is undeniable, she’s looking to prove her acting abilities in the upcoming sci-fi flick The Giver, which premieres Aug. 15.
