Pop icon Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce were photographed holding hands at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri earlier this week.
Following the Kansas City Chief’s 27-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, the couple left the stadium hand in hand. Swift was dressed in a Versace crop top with jean shorts while Kelce had changed from his game uniform to a white and orange ombre shirt and pants.
Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt told Today earlier before the game that while Swift’s appearances at the games are “always a little bit of a surprise,” the “TV cameras will find her.”
Swift watched the game with Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce. As Swift cheered on her boyfriend, it marked a sweet reversal for the couple, as Kelce has spent much of the summer supporting Swift along her Eras Tour across Europe.
Swift’s popularity has not wavered since the start of the Eras Tour, but her reputation has steadily taken a hit. Ironically, what has sparked the most controversy about Swift recently has been her lack of “controversial” statements.
As one of the music industry’s most influential figures in history, fans feel Swift has not taken full advantage of her platform to fight for human rights.
Furthermore, although Swift endorsed the president in 2020, she has yet to make any comments about the painfully similar and high-stakes election coming in November. In September 2023, Swift posted a short message to Instagram that encouraged her fans to vote. Shortly after, the website that she directed to recorded over 35,000 registrations.
