Last week, Frank Andrew Hoover was arrested for following Taylor Swift to an airport in Texas, despite the conditions of an already-existing restraining order placed on him from the singer.
The 38-year-old Hoover was under investigation for following Swift after her Formula 1 show in late October. Her bodyguards stopped him within 50 feet of Swift’s car, and he said he wanted to “possibly accompany Taylor wherever she goes.” This incident came after a pervious one, in which Swift was awarded a restraining order against Hoover, requiring him to stay at least 500 feet away from her at all times.
Hoover had also allegedly sent Swift’s father some disturbing emails. “Without her, I walk the earth alone forever and she’ll continue to experience failed relationships that break her heart,” was one supposed line from an email. “God is going to kill all the Swifts and then the issue will go away,” reads another line from the alleged emails. It has also been alleged that Hoover included a photo of Swift with a caption in red that read, “a whore named Satan dies.”
Hoover is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
In other T-Swift news, the singer is rumored to be working with Drake of some “different [though] catchy” music. Neither Swift nor Drake has commented.
