Taylor Swift is officially a billionaire.
Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour has racked up $700 million in ticket sales – not including sales from merchandise, which range from $45-$75 – since March, a number that is expected to go up as the performances continue through November 24.
The average ticket cost $254 per person, though some have spent as much as $10,000 per ticket to attend the tour.
When Swift announced her new concert film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, fans spent more than $100 million in presales alone. Preview showings of the movie brought in $2.8 million, and the film is expected to run in AMC, Regal and Cinemark theaters across the country until January 12.
Swift’s net worth reached $1.1 billion this week, Bloomberg reported.
This is attributed to her tour and film, and to her more than $80 million worth of real estate across the country.
Swift’s success in recent months has even boosted the economy, as cities are generating profits from the hotel rooms and meals that fans purchase while in town to see her shows.
Swift has been making more headlines lately for her love life. By attending the games of her new boyfriend, Travis Kelce, she has even boosted the NFL’s ratings.
