Taylor Swift & Evermore Theme Park Drop Both Of Their Lawsuits Against Each Other

Taylor Swift has dropped her lawsuit against Evermore Theme Park in Utah over the name of her newest album.

“As a resolution of both lawsuits, the parties will drop and dismiss their respective suits without monetary settlement,” a spokesperson for Swift said in a statement.

Following the release of Swift’s surprise album Evermore in December, the Utah theme park filed a trademark infringement lawsuit against the singer in February. The park claimed that the title of the album caused “actual confusion” that negatively impacted the park.

They also claimed at Swift’s Evermore merchandise was similar to products sold at the park and that the “Willow” singer’s clothing pieces were counterfeit due to Evermore Park’s trademark on the name.

A month later, Swift’s team countersued, arguing that the park used Swift’s songs, “Love Story,” “You Belong With Me” and “Bad Blood” in various performances without proper licenses.

Earlier this week, Swift announced that her first “From the Vault” song from Fearless (Taylor’s Version), “You All Over Me (From The Vault) with Maren Morris will come out Friday March 26.
