Taylor Swift has a lot to say about Netflix’s new show Ginny & Georgia.
On Monday, the “Wildest Dreams” singer tweeted about a particular line in the series, “Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defying this horse s–t as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you Happy Women’s History Month I guess.”
The line in questioned went, “What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift.”
Ginny & Georgia, a new original series released February 24, tells the story of Georgia Miller as she moves to a new town with her teenage daughter, Ginny and her son, Austin to have a fresh start but secrets in Georgia’s past may jeopardize that new future.
Swift has worked on two projects with Netflix in the past, her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour and 2019’s Miss Americana documentary.
After releasing two surprise albums in 2020, Swift is preparing to release her re-recorded Fearless album on April 9.
