Taron Egerton Addresses Calls From Fans To Cast Him As Wolverine

While Hugh Jackman‘s portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men movies earned rave reviews, it may be time for a new Wolverine to carry out his legacy.

Restless fans awaiting a new Marvel Cinematic Universe film and are looking to see Kingsman star Taron Egerton star as Logan in the new movie.

Some fans can even see it right now. Digital artist Subi Ozil shared her visual depiction of how Egerton would look as Wolverine.

The photo features Egerton in the iconic Wolverine comic book suit with a modern twist to give fans an idea of what he would look like in the MCU.

Egerton has not been officially cast for the role, but fans are hoping he lands it. The fan love was so persistent he even addressed the rumors, saying he doesn’t know if he could pull it off.

“I’ve always said… I don’t know if I’m the right guy to play that part. I was with Hugh [Jackman] yesterday, briefly, who obviously played the role originally. We’re such different vibes. I don’t know if I would be the right person to follow him. But I’ve always said I would be open to it. But at the moment, there’s no truth, other than the fan-casting thing, which goes kind of crazy every time I mention it. But, you know, who knows,” Egerton told Sway.
