Tame Impala Rescheduled Concert Dates Annnounced

Tame Impala‘s 2020 tour was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the band has announced new dates for a 2021 tour.

The tour was scheduled to follow the release of their fourth studio album The Slow Rush, which featured hits including “Borderline” and “Patience.” But now, the indie psychedelic rock group is slated to kick off their tour in July in Mexico on July 22 making 20 stops across North America, before moving the tour to front man Kevin Parker‘s home country of Australia and New Zealand. This leg of the tour kicks off in Auckland, New Zealand on December 5, and ends on December 18 in Perth, Australia.

The band also announced upcoming music festival appearances, including NOS Primavera Sound on June 11 and 12 in Porto, Portugal; Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco on August 6-8 and Fuji Rock Festival in Yuzawa, Japan on August 20-22.
