Singer and songwriter SZA paused a show in Salt Lake City after someone in the audience fainted, citing the recent Astroworld tragedy.
“This person’s literally flat out like passed … out … like flat on the ground non-responsive, and it’s important that we just make sure they’re ok,” she told the crowd.
“Way more water,” she instructed the staff. “My personal water … bring all the water … I don’t care … every last one.”
SZA was one of the performers at Astroworld, who performed before the tragedy that took 10 people’s lives.
“Some may think, ‘Hey people pass out all the time.’ But people don’t die at concerts all the time,” she said to a cheering crowd.
The day after Astroworld she tweeted a message about the event.
“Speechless about last night I’m actually in shock n don’t even know what to say .. just praying for everyone in Houston especially the families of those that lost their lives,” she tweeted.
During Travis Scott‘s Astroworld concert several people were trampled as chaos began to ensue in the crowd. Ten people ended up dying from the event and hundreds more were injured.
