Amidst wide-spread rumors circulating that Sydney Sweeney and her fiancee Jonathan Davino might have broken up after she got close with Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell, Sweeney choose to ignore the drama and smile for the camera.

The Euphoria star posted on Instagram some photos of her getting ready for the Met Gala, showing the before and after process of putting on the dress as she is surrounded by her team. On the last slide in the series of photos, Sweeney’s squad is shown wearing robes that read “Team Sweeney.”

What was also noticeable about these photos is that Sweeney’s engagement ring appears to be missing. With her relationship already rumored to be on the rocks, posting without her ring could be taken as a subtle way to show the world she has moved on.
After all, her Anyone But You co-star Powell had already broken up with his girlfriend Gigi Paris, who did not seem pleased by all the affectionate photos of her ex and Sweeney on the shoot. A recent Instagram post by Paris read “know your worth & onto the next,” which is almost certainly a reference to their break-up.
