Sydney Sweeney, 25, was all smiles as she walked out of her hotel on the French Riviera with her fiancé, Jonathan Davino, 38, at the Cannes Film Festival this week.

She wore a revealing low-cut dress, exposing her sky-blue bra. Another noticeable detail is her engagement ring, which is reportedly the first time the 25-year-old actress has publicly worn it since October last year. 

The Euphoria star was first linked to Davino after the pair were seen attending an Emmys afterparty in 2018. Davino, 38, a restaurateur, hails from a family that owns two restaurants in Chicago. They were engaged last year in February.

When asked why she kept romantic relationships private, the White Lotus star told Cosmopolitan, “I don’t date people in the spotlight. I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest. I have a great support system.” 

The public appearance of her ring may stop the romance rumors between her and Glen Powell, with whom she has an upcoming romantic comedy, Anyone But You.

Powell and Sweeney were caught in the middle of cheating rumors when pictures and videos of them close together circulated on the internet. 

Sweeney’s new film, Reality, premieres on HBO Max on May 29.
