Sydney Leathers, one of mayoral hopeful Anthony Weiner's alleged sexting mistresses, scored a 6-figure deal with IHookUp to flaunt her sexting talents as the face of the dating site’s mobile app.
IHookUp enables its users to locate other interested parties, text and ultimately meet for a hook up. Leathers, as part of her deal, will have to be an active member on IHookUp, whose tagline reads: "Casual Dating Based on Sexual Chemistry." Leathers will treat fellow users to the same sexting skills she pulled out for Weiner. For some lucky cyber prowlers, she might even agree to a meeting.
"It's all about that instant gratification and hooking up with the right person at the right time,” a rep for IHookUp told TMZ. “Sydney seems to have that nailed down!"
Leathers also has a deal with Vivid Entertainment – the same company behind Farrah Abraham and Chris Humphries' ex Myla Sinanaj's porn videos. She has already released a teaser video, which features a photo shoot of Leathers in various states of undress along with a behind-the-scenes-interview. She's also reportedly in the works to shoot a less tame adult film inspired by her sexting affair with the politician.
Weiner definitely got the short end of the affair. Instead of being able to turn it into a profit like Leathers, he’s seeing it sink his chances of becoming the next mayor of New York City. His current disapproval rating is at 80%.
