Swizz Beatz, rapper-producer and husband of the singer Alicia Keys, took to Instagram to encourage fans to celebrate his wife’s spectacular performance with Usher.

In his Instagram post, Beatz urged followers to recognize the grandeur of Keys’ moment and applauded the collaboration between Usher, H.E.R., Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon and Ludacris.

Despite the various opinions on the night’s performances, it was Keys’ segment that garnered the most attention.

Alongside photos of Keys on stage, Beatz captioned his post, “Y’all talking about the wrong damn thing !!! y’all don’t see that amazing dress covering the entire stadium ⚡️🚨😂😂😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 Tonight’s performance was nothing but amazing with 2 amazing Giants ! Congrats @usher and my love @aliciakeys that song is a classic 🤍.”

Beatz finished, “We don’t do negative vibes on this side we make history ✌🏽 Go see GIANTS at @brooklynmuseum it’s open until July blessings 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽”

In Keys’ solo performance of the 2003 hit “If I Ain’t Got You,” she experienced a brief vocal crack.

While Keys was undeterred and seamlessly transitioned into a steamy duet of “My Boo” with Usher, the minor lapse quickly became a viral moment. Keys’ duet with Usher also culminated in an embrace that sparked playful concern among social media users about their singers’ respective spouses.

Beatz and Keys have been married since 2010 and have two sons together. Meanwhile, Usher recently tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea, with whom he shares two children. The playful concern voiced by some social media users should be taken with a grain of salt as it aligns with the lighthearted tone set by Apple’s warning at the beginning of the halftime show that playfully acknowledged the potential for “singing, dancing, sweating, gyrating, and possible relationship issues.”

Usher’s performance generally got mixed to negative reviews, with critics panning his decision to strip off his shirt mid-performance.
