Sweepee Rambo Named 2016 World’s Ugliest Dog

SweePee Rambo, a 17-year-old Chinese Crested Chihuahua, has been named 2016’s Ugliest Dog.

SweePee took the top prize at the 28th annual Petaluma World’s Ugliest Dog contest that was held at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds over the weekend. She beat out 15 other dogs for the honor, which takes into account the dogs’ appearances as well as their odors and other characteristics.

In addition to being blind in both eyes, SweePee is bowlegged, has an oozing sore, and is unable to keep her tongue in her mouth. She also has a blond mohawk and is often pictured with doggie diapers on due to incontinence.

SweePee’s owner is 44-year-old Encino native Jason Wurtz, who has dubbed the pup a “ride or die chick.” Wurtz took home $15,000 and a trophy.
