Suzanne Crough, who was best known for starring in The Partridge Family, died suddenly on Monday. She was 52.

Crough died at her home in Laughlin, Nev., earlier this week of unknown causes. The Clark County coroner, John Fudenberg, has said that an autopsy will be performed, according to The New York Times.

Crough got her start in the entertainment industry in a Barbie commercial in the late 60s. She then landed the part of tambourine-playing Tracy Partridge in The Partridge Family, which premiered in 1970. In the family show, Crough starred alongside David Cassidy, Danny Bonaduce, Brian Forster, Susan Dey and Shirley Jones.

“Everyone thought I’d be the first Partridge to go,” Bonaduce told HollywoodLife.com. “Sadly it was little Tracy. Suzanne was a wonderful lady and a good mom. She will be missed.”

Throughout the 70s, Crough continued her career on TV in Mulligan’s Stew and appeared in the Academy Award-winning short film Teenage Father. In 1980, Crough appeared in TV movie Children of Divorce, which was her last credited part.

Crough is survived by her husband William Condray, daughters Samantha and Alexandra and a granddaughter.
