‘Survivor: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers’ Episode 13 Recap: Ashley Voted Off After Ben Uses Immunity Idol

Survivor: Heroes v. Healers v. Hustlers episode 13 aired last night, which means there is just one episode more episode in season 35 of the veteran show.

SURVIVOR: HEROES V. HEALERS V. HUSTLERS RECAP

After last week’s episode, where Ben used his hidden immunity idol and managed to avoid being voted out, sending Lauren home, the group is eager to get Ben off the island. Throughout this episode, Ben takes every opportunity he can to search for another idol. Despite his clear intentions, the rest of the group doesn’t take him seriously, and doesn’t even try to find any idols before Ben can.

At the reward challenge, the six remaining contestants were randomly paired up, creating three groups of Ashely and Ben, Chrissy and Devon, and Mike and Ryan. Together, they followed an obstacle course at the end of which Chrissy and Devon won, and decided to bring Ryan along for their feast reward. Ashley, Mike, and Ben headed back to camp and Ben continued on his hunt for idols. It appears Devon has ended his alliance with Ashley, which is unbeknownst to her, and he teams up with Chrissy and Ryan. Ben tries his luck allying with Ashely but she is uninterested.

Next up is the immunity challenge, which was yet another obstacle race. They had to climb, toss, and climb again to get the end, where they then had to solve a tough cog puzzle. Chrissy walks away with immunity, and guarantees her spot in the Final 5.

While Ben was off looking for an idol, he came across a clue. It is somewhat unbelievable that the rest of the castaways didn’t follow Ben in his search, as they all know that once an immunity idol has been played (and one was played last week), that a new idol is introduced into the game. Well Ben found a clue that said the idol would be hidden where they all sleep.

And once they all arrived at the tribal council, Ben revealed that he had successfully uncovered the idol. Devon was very open that everyone was planning to vote for Ben before he slammed the idol down on the table. Ben then offered to vote for Mike if everyone wants to follow suit, but in the end it was Ashley who will be leaving this time around. Devon betrayed his alliance with her and teamed up with Chrissy in voting Ashley out.

So Ben is safe for now, and the Final 5 going into the season finale next week are Ben, Devon, Chrissy, Ryan, and Mike.
