The ’90s are back this summer — and things are grungier than ever. Grab that old ripped shirt out of the back of your closet, throw it on over a pair of denim shorts and you have yourself a grunge look.
An important component of the grunge trend is denim. It doesn’t matter if it’s denim jeans, jacket, skirt or shorts. These articles of clothing can come in various forms such as: distressed, plain, white-wash, light-wash and dark-wash. The easiest thing to pair denim with is a white top. Other easy pairings include band t-shirts, colorful or patterned crop tops and bralettes. Holes, rips, and cuts can add unique edges and personality to any outfit.
