Suki Waterhouse looked chic at the Amazon Fashion photography studio launch party in London’s Hoxton Thursday night in a unique black dress.

Suki Waterhouse’s LBD Look

Waterhouse donned a short black strapless C/meo Collective dress that featured a longer half skirt that came around the back and sides of the number and tied at the waist. The 23-year-old model completed the look with chunky silver sandals.

Waterhouse was at the launch party as the new ambassador for Amazon Fashion, which could oust Macy’s as America’s number one fashion retailer by 2017. In her new role, Waterhouse will be teaming up with photographer Cass Bird and fashion writer Julia Sarr-Jamois to develop a campaign for Amazon Fashion’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection.

“Our aim is to make Amazon the best place to buy fashion online,” Sergio Bucher, Vice President of Amazon Fashion EU, said. “The opening of our new fashion studio illustrates our ambitions. Our new studio will enable us to produce more than half a million images a year.”

Waterhouse believes that she’s a natural fit as the face for Bucher’s project, as she’s already embraced online shopping and knows its benefits.

“I’m a good online shopper – good as in I like to do it,” Waterhouse told Vogue. “It makes me feel calmer – I can get very adrenalin-y in the shops, whereas online everything’s laid out in front of me, I can look at it, think about it, come back to it – it stops as silly impulse buys, and then I can just pop it back. I also do a lot of screen grabs and share on WhatsApp’s and ask my friends – they mostly say, ‘Er, no, what are you thinking?'”
