Students Hijack #ThanksMichelleObama Hashtag With Disgusting Lunch Pictures

Michelle Obama’s primary quest as First Lady of the United States has been to get Americans to eat healthier. One of her biggest actions has been an overhaul of the menus at schools to fight childhood obesity. With her reforms now in practice, students have been given the results and they’re not happy with them. Since August the hashtag #ThanksMichelleObama has been picking up steam (especially now with Thanksgiving on the horizon) with pictures of their new USDA/Michelle Obama approved meals.

The pictures paint an unpleasant image of what school lunches look like across the country.
