Stormy Daniels Says Orders For Merch Are ‘Pouring In’ After Trump’s Indictment & Arrest
Adult film actress Stormy Daniels said orders for her merchandise and autographs are “pouring in” after former President Donald Trump was indicted on Thursday.
Daniels thanked her supporters on Twitter, saying that she was enjoying the news of the indictment with some champagne.
She is central to the case because of a $130,000 hush-money payment made to her in 2016 from Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen.
Daniels said that she had an affair with Trump in 2006. Cohen paid her to not reveal this just before the 2016 election.
This payment is believed to be the main offense in the Manhattan district attorney’s investigation.
After news suggested that Trump may be indicted, the porn star started to promote her merchandise store, selling $20 T-shirts with the words “#TEAMSTORMY,” signed posters of herself in lingerie and a $30 dog chew toy in the shape of Trump.
On Tuesday, Trump was charged with 34 felonies for falsifying business records. The maximum sentence for these charges is four years in prison.
Trump has also been selling merchandise of his own. A white T-shirt with “I stand with Trump” and the date of his indictment, March 30, is being given to supporters who donate $47 or more.
His campaign team stated that the shirts were “flying off shelves” and that they raised more than $4 million in the first 24 hours after the indictment news dropped.
