It has been reported that Sting has officially signed a contract with WWE, though the details of the contract remain secret.
Sources appear confident that the legendary wrestler, Sting, who has never before had a contract with WWE, will be working for the massive wrestling company in the near future. Rumors of Sting joining WWE have been going around since January, with many speculating that Sting would sign on to fight The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31 in 2015.
In the wake of WrestleMania 30, the rumors died down a bit, but have now reappeared thanks to increased Sting-focused segments on the WWE Network. On Sunday, May 11, WWE posted a ’30 Second Fury’ clip featuring Sting, and Sting is rumored to have collaborated with WWE on several other video projects.
Sting also recently appeared in WWE’s tribute to the Ultimate Warrior.
Reports of a signed contract may be premature, however, as neither WWE nor Sting has confirmed, or even commented, on the report.
