Steve Harvey was surprised to meet a look-alike while hosting a recent episode of Family Feud.
When a pastor named Olden Thornton appeared on Family Feud with members of his family, he wasted no time in letting Harvey know that he’s often mistaken for him as he goes about his life. The upsetting thing for Thornton is that despite having similar looks to Harvey, he doesn’t have his bank account.
“Every day of my life, people come up to me and call me Steve Harvey. And I don’t even have your money!” Thornton quipped to Harvey on the show. “I mean, I think I should get compensated or something. I mean, don’t you think?”
Harvey, amused by his doppelganger, ended up reluctatnly paying him a compliment, admitting that Thornton might actually be a bit more attractive than him.
“Actually, you know, I really hate to say this. I hate to say this, but I’m an honest guy. You’re actually a little better looking than I am,” Harvey conceded. “Yeah, it’s kinda hurting me a little bit.”
