Golden State Warriors star point guard Steph Curry took to the stage during a recent Paramore concert to help the band perform “Misery Business” – and lead a sing-along with the audience.
Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, took to Instagram with a video recalling that they listened to the band on one of their first dates.
Curry has been busy recently with a new documentary out on Apple TV+.
At the documentary’s premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, Curry’s Davidson coach, Bob McKillop, recalled to uInterview the signs of greatness he saw in the point guard back in his college days.
“In his second game as a Davidson player against the University of Michigan, he scored 32 points,” McKillop said. “The night before, he had a double-double – 15 points, 13 turnovers, not the double-double that is proverbial in that you get applause. And after that performance, in the press conference after the game, he just scored 32 points, in the national press conference, he gave credit to his teammates. He always puts the team ahead of himself but never at the consequence of limiting himself. There are a lot of guys that will praise their team and in a sense destroy their own ability to perform. He had a remarkable capacity to praise his teammates and still perform at a level of being a great teammate but being a great performer.”
