‘Star Trek’ Stars John Cho, Zoe Saldana & Zachary Quinto Mourn The Loss Of Anton Yelchin

Early Sunday morning, Anton Yelchin died after being pinned to a brick mailbox pillar by his Jeep Grand Cherokee in front of his Los Angeles home.

When news broke of the death of the 27-year-old Yelchin, many took to social media to share their condolences.

Yelchin recently finished the third film of the rebooted Star Trek trilogy, Star Trek: Beyond, which is set to be released this summer. Yelchin played the role of Pavel Chekov, a Russian specialist. His co-star John Cho, who played Hikaru Sulu, tweeted his devastation at the loss.

I loved Anton Yelchin so much. He was a true artist – curious, beautiful, courageous. He was a great pal and a great son. I’m in ruins.
