Annie Clark – better known as St. Vincent – has composed the soundtrack for a movie by her girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.
Clark has scored the new short film of the Twilight actress, titled Come Swim, which marks Stewart’s directorial and screenwriting debut.
The duo has been rumored to be dating, a few months after Clark was dating supermodel Cara Delevingne. Since then, the pair has worked on the film as part of the Shatterbox Anthology series focusing on women directors, which will premiere at Sundance Film Festival. Come Swim‘s story is described as “a diptych of one man’s day, half impressionist and half realist portraits.”
No musical or visual clips from Come Swim have been released yet. Clark confirmed her involvement in the project on Twitter.
Clark is also writing and directing a horror vignette for a project called XX: Four Deadly Tales by Four Killer Women, which will also feature contributions from Jovanka Vuckovic, Jennifer Lynch (Surveillance), Karyn Kusama (The Invitation) and Roxanne Benjamin (VHS). The project will star Natalie Brown, Melanie Lynskey, Breeda Wool and Christina Kirk.
Back in 2015, Clark won a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, for her fifth studio LP St. Vincent, making her the first woman in 20 years to win the award.
