New information about the hit drama series Squid Game has been released by Netflix, along with a message from the creator, writer, director and executive producer Hwang Dong-Hyuk.

The teaser sent by Netflix on Twitter is a video of an animation of the gigantic animatronic doll that was featured in the pilot of the show. The post had the caption; “Red light…GREENLIGHT! Squid Game is officially coming back for Season 2.”

The statement written by Dong-Hyuk reveals small hints on what the show is going to incorporate in the upcoming season, including the return of the protagonist Seong Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, and the masked antagonist the Front Man, played by Lee Byung-hun.

“It took 12 years to bring the first season of ‘Squid Game’ to life last year. But it took 12 days for ‘Squid Game’ to become the most popular Netflix series ever,” Dong-Hyuk wrote. “As the writer, director and producer of ‘Squid Game,’ a huge shout out to fans around the world. Thank you for watching and loving our show.”
