FX is all set to premere the fourth season of its popular Sons of Anarchy, picking up after the SAMCRO boys have finished their fourteen-month prison stint and emerged with new leases on life, as well as new challenges in the town of Charming.
The outlaw motorcycle gang isn't letting a little time in the clink stand between them and their antihero status. "Everyone comes out feeling like they have a handle on things," creator Kurt Sutter told TVLine. "And of course that handle loosens fairly quickly."
Fans are particularly curious aobut the fate of star and lead bad boy, Jackson "Jax" Teller (Charlie Hunnam), who finished up season three having as solid a bond as ever with his partner and mother to newborn Thomas, Tara Knowles (Maggie Siff.) "Jax and Tara are in it for the long haul," Hunnam said. "So now it's a process of Jax figuring out how to extricate himself in the most clean and not dangerous way, without the whole thing jeopardizing his family."
Also expect to see some familiar faces return. Kenny Johnson, who played Detective Curtis Lemansky on FX's highly acclaimed The Shield, will reprise his role as Kozik in this season of Sons of Anarchy.
