SPOILERS: Rick Grimes Gets Tough In Season Three Of 'The Walking Dead' On AMC
The season three premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead is about to stumble upon Sunday nights, and that means that spoilers and trailers are bombarding the Internet, much to the delight of fans.
As Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) and his dwindling crew approach an abandoned prison — both an ideal place to keep zombies out and a metaphor for the heroes' predicament — on the season premiere, you can cut the tension with a knife. "Weapons, food, medicine. This place could be a gold mine," Rick, the dubious leader says to his people, who still consist of Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies), Andrea (Laurie Holden), Glenn (Steven Yeun), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan).
But things don't stay peachy-keen for long. The Governor, played by British actor David Morrissey, makes his first appearance in the trailer, menacingly telling his own people, "We're going out there and we're taking back what's ours."
Don't miss seeing Danai Gurira debut as Michonne, either, when The Walking Dead returns to AMC on October 14.
