SPOILERS: Bryan Cranston Returns For Fifth And Final Season Of 'Breaking Bad'

Breaking Bad will come back to AMC on June 15, with stars Bryan Cranston as Walter White, Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman, Dean Norris as Hank Schrader and Anna Gunn as Skyler White. And that's not all the news. Breaking Bad's upcoming fifth season will also apparently be its last.

Season five will be broken down into two segments, with eight of the total sixteen episodes airing this summer, and the final half to return in the summer of 2013. "We're splitting it," Cranston told Entertainment Weekly while shooting on location in New Mexico. "We're going to shoot the first eight, then take a four-month production break, then the rest will air next year," he said. So for fans who can't bear to see Breaking Bad end, at least the final season will be drawn out as long as possible.

And what should we expect on the June 15 season premiere? "We pick up right where we left off," said Cranston. "We're cleaning up the pieces from last season's huge ordeal where Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) was forced to meet his maker. It's not as easy as Walter thought. And as we've discovered over the years, you don't really know who Walter White is. I'm still discovering who he is and I'm trying to allow myself to be open to him going darker and darker. There's physical danger to himself and his family, plus there's the emotional danger due to his anger and hubris. It's about the evil that men do and where that takes him."
