Markle, 36, is said to be a fan of the supergroup, while Harry, 33, met up with the band members after attending one of their concerts in 1997. A source told The Sun that Halliwell, 45, had suggested their first official concert as the reunited Spice Girls take place at the royal wedding. “The wedding fits in perfectly with Geri’s idea that the reunion should be very British. She sees it as a big part of their identity, and one they should keep,” the source shared.

Mel also shared that invitations for the big day have already been sent out. “It’s too personal to describe it,” she said at first, before adding, “it was proper, I’m not saying anything more.”

Despite the wedding being merely three months away, it had been speculated that invites had not yet been sent out. Sir Elton John, a close friend of the royal family, recently admitted he did not know if he was invited yet – “no one’s been asked,” he told the Daily Mail. The singer reportedly canceled two gigs to make sure he would be able to attend if invited.
