Soleil Moon Frye, best known for her childhood role as Punky Brewster, couldn’t be happier about welcoming a boy into her growing brood.

Frye, 37, already has two daughters with husband Jason GoldbergJagger Joseph Blue, 5, and Poet Sienna Rose, 8. Upon receiving the news that her third child would be a boy, the actress was overwhelmed with joy.

“It’s crazy. I’m so excited. I’m just totally blown away,” Frye told People. “My girls and I, we love designing together, we love creating together, we love coming up with craft ideas. I think it will be fun to add some more boy energy to that. I’m excited to be able to raise him in a household of girls, and teach him to be a gentleman at an early age.”

Both Frye and Goldberg are taking their third round with a newborn very seriously, especially since they don’t have any prior experience with raising a boy. “We’ve started exercising and training our minds. I’ve got to store up a lot of energy and get prepared, because apparently boys have a lot of energy!” Frye joked. However, Frye admitted earlier in the month that preparing the nursery and getting clothes for their new baby had fallen by the wayside.

As for Jagger and Poet, Frye says her first and second-born girls are thrilled to have a baby brother on the way.

After her run on Punky Brewster in the 80s, Frye attended The New School and married Goldberg, a director, in 1998. She later landed a starring role on Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and now primarily works in voice acting.
