Sofia Vergara knows that her gorgeous looks may fade with age, and she's okay with it.

The Modern Family star rejected plastic surgery as a way of preserving youth. "A woman should never have [plastic surgery] to look younger," she said to Ladies' Home Journal. "To fix little things here and there, maybe. To look a little fresher, okay. But you're always going to look your age."

The hot Latina, who has been nominated for an Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award for her role as Gloria Pritchett on ABC's hit show, was proud of the accent that is so often a butt of jokes—and often makes fun of it herself. "I was talking to my son, and he said, 'Ma, I'm so hungry. Send me things I can eat late at night,' " Vergara, 38, recalled. "I told him to go out and buy something that's 'microwa … microwarble … microwarable' – oh, forget it!"

Vergara hopes her career follows in the tracks of another trailblazing, feisty comedienne: Betty White. "I love that she is so relevant and still taking risks at 89," she says. "I want to be her when I grow up." —ISHITA SINGH
