Sofia Vergara posted a photo on her Instagram account with a King Cake, a specialty of New Orleans for Mardi Gras. She mysteriously thanked “Lea, Brock and Brian” – who we’re assuming were responsible for sending the cake.
Mardi Gras will be held on Feb. 28, and New Orleans undoubtedly holds the biggest celebration of them all. There are fabulous costumed parades, multicolored floats, distribution of sweets and gold coins to people who come to watch the festivities.
Vergara is a cake lover anyway — three weeks ago she had also posted a photo on her Instagram account with Kelly Klain eating a cake.
And a week before, she posted another photo in which she seems amazed in front of a cake offered by Brazilian friends.
Vergara plays a main role in the series Modern Family, broadcast since 2009 on ABC. The series was recently nominated at the 2017 SAG Awards for Outstanding performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
