Snooki, Former ‘Jersey Shore’ Star, Tests Positive For COVID-19
Former Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi did not spend Valentine’s Day as she intended.
In a Sunday Instagram post, Polizzi shared that she had tested positive for the coronavirus and has isolated from her family. She posted a mirror selfie of herself holding a bouquet of roses while wearing a mask inside her home.
“Happy Valentine’s Day! This ones a bit different…I have Covid,” the reality star wrote. “I’ve been isolating in my room since I found out. My family and I have been super cautious & careful, so this is super scary. My symptoms started out as just a bad headache, stuffy nose # mild cough. Then I felt super tired and ended up napping all day which made me get tested.”
“Today I just feel groggy. I ended up losing my taste and smell last night. It’s fricken weird. I had a greasy cheese pizza & couldn’t taste a damn thing. WHAT A SIN,” Polizzi continued. “The rest of my family tested negative, so I am here hiding out in my bedroom until this is over. Slide over to the next pic. I woke up to see roses and chocolates thrown on my floor from my family. Still showing my quarantine a– Love on Valentine’s Day! Appreciate all your concerns bit I am ok! Please stay safe everyone!”
Jersey Shore co-star and close friend, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley commented, “Can I throw chocolates at your window?”
In December 2019, Polizzi announced that she was retiring from Jersey Shore and its spin-off, Jersey Shore Family Vacation to spend more time at home with her family.
