The child stars of Slumdog Millionaire attended the Oscar ceremony on Sunday. Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, 10, and Rubina Ali, 9, who were cast by director Danny Boyle in a Mumbai slum, took their first plane ride to get to Los Angeles last weekend. Slumdog was nominated for 10 Oscar awards, and won eight statues including best picture and best director. All nine actors who play the three primary characters in three stages of their lives attended the ceremony, including Dev Patel, 18, and Freida Pinto (pictured), 24, who play the adult leads.
