Slime Eels Cover Oregon Road In Slime, Shut Down Highway
A truck full of slime eels overturned in Oregon, leading to something that looks like a scene from a horror movie.
Thirteen containers of slime eels, weighing 7,500 pounds, spilled onto the highway on Thursday after the truck driver transporting the cargo hit his brakes to avoid a construction zone. The truck caused a chain reaction crash involving four vehicles.
Luckily, only minor injuries were reported. The crash shut down the highway that runs along the Pacific Coast south of Depoe Bay at around noon. It took until 3:30 to re-open the highway after cleanup was done.
Pictures of the accident show hundreds of live slime eels sliding down the road in a thick, white goo.
