‘Sister Wives’ Maddie & Caleb Brush Welcome Baby Boy

Some families never stop growing. Sister Wives‘ stars Caleb and Maddie Brush welcomed a baby boy on Saturday, May 20, bringing Kody Brown‘s family to a total of 26 people. The baby, named Axel Brush is Brown’s first grandchild.

The baby was born weighing a healthy 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and measured 21 inches long. Brush was in labor for 72 hours.

Brush posted a photo of her baby to Instagram with the caption, “Welcome to the world Axel James Brush,” adding two heart emojis.

“The first night was really, actually, easy,” Maddie Brush told TLC, the Sister Wives network. “[Axel] slept for a solid five hours all the way through. Then, got up, fed him, changed his bum, and he slept through another two. It’s really nice.”

The baby was born exactly on his due date.

Being part of such a large family with four grandmothers, the couple commented on what Axel may call the members of his big family. “We think it would be super cute to have different names for all the grandmas but ultimately they get to choose what they are called,” Brush said.
